Rarus 400 oils are suitable for use in single and multi-stage air compressors and are particularly effective for continuous high temperature arduous operation with exhaust temperature up to 200°C. They are suitable for both reciprocating and rotary type machines, and also for crankcase lubrication in crosshead type reciprocating machines.

Mobil Rarus 827 and 829 are synthetic di-ester based air compressor lubricants. They are primarily intended for severe operation, reciprocating units.

Mobil Rarus SH C oil are fully synthetic rotary air compressor lubricants, they are recommended for all rotary screw and vane, air compressors. They are particularly effective in screw-type compressors having oil injection cooling, in rotary compressors with high final compression temperatures or in compressors that tend to form varnish and system deposits.
