Flexvolt is the new 54v battery system that enables corded performance from a cordless tool.

The new 54v battery is backward compatible with 18v XR tools and boasts a 70 minute charge time (with the new Flexvolt charger, included).

Featuring 3 layers of cells, the battery will detect when it’s connected to an 18v or 54v tool. If it’s a 54v tool it will use all 3 layers of cells providing 54v performance.

When the battery is connected to an 18v XR tool it will only utilise the top layer of cells which converts it to an 18v battery.

Please note: keep the red battery caps for safe transportation.
